It took long enough, and I realize my photography still has a long way to go, but I finally got 50 photos and my name on the list. The last few have taken the most effort, and greatest toll on my sanity. I thought I'd share my last two:

Congratulations OSU_av8or!

I really like twilight shots such as yours.

My first attempt at uploading was an epic fail last week. But I will rise from the ashes and try again.  Smile

Wow, and the Pilatus shot made the cover of AOPA, too. Very well done! If you don't mind sharing, what camera/lens combo and settings did you use for that shot?

MY shot did not make the cover of AOPA, but the airplane did. A much more experienced and qualified photographer than myself has the honor of that resume' line.

I just got a Sony A-200 and used the kit 18-70mm lense for that shot. I'll go back to the raw file and see if I can dig up the settings.

edit to add: settings were 18mm, F16, 1second exposure, ISO 100. On a tripod, of course.

Thanks for the info. And please keep those shots coming. The fantastic quality of the photo is one thing, but the fact that the subject is an interesting GA aircraft (as opposed to, say, yet another Eurowhite airliner) makes it even more special.
