I wonder if the photo sales idea will be a reality by x-mas.....I think a coffee mug with a 747 landing in fog on it would be a big seller....I would buy a t-shirt for my Nephew with an MD-11 on it......How 'bout a computer mouse pad with the Concorde on it???  Smile  Smile  Smile

Hey Mark,

wanna trade...my coffee mug with a pic of a US A330 coming out of the fog...I'd like to have your mouse pad with the AI 744 crossing the full moon.

Vasco

p.s. I guess that idea was already discussed.
Has Johan ever thought about publishing a book?

Airliners.net Story tellers, behind the pictures....

What about a calendar......we could have Airplane of the month and then at years end....it is the Airplane of the year!

Better yet, we could have a calendar with just pictures of the men and women that comprise the photography staff at a.net. January:Gary Watt, February: Andy Hunt, March: Air Nikon, April: Pix Air,May: Vasco, June: Joe Pries, July: Craig Murray, August, The Mogrens, etc etc......
Each photographer could state how he or she enjoys photography. Either that or the photographers could pose nude............ Smile

I was wondering about the nude aspect of the calendar. Could be like one of those charity ones where a strategicaally placed object covers the naaughty bits. Of course, in our case it would have to be a camera.... we could see who's got the biggest zoom!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

(OK - we already know that, Mark's got the biggest zoom!)

SITE ADMIN

Hey guys,

I like that nude calendar idea, surely something we'll have to consider  Big grin

About the photo print sales, I'm sorry to say that the company we were having discussions with couldn't deliver what we need until well into next year. I am currently in talks with other printing companies and I'm sure we'll be able to work something out.

I don't think we'll have anything ready before Christmas unfortunately and if we do, it's probably just a small scale test of the ordering system.

I'll get back to you as soon as I have more information.

Mark,

if let's say we had Amanda Peet, Karen Mulder, Heidi Kulm as airliners.net photographers amongst us I would be all for the the nude calendar, eems that that is not the case so spare me with the idea of posing nude for the airliners.net calendar.

It may be a delight for all female airliners.net fans......but honestly having Mark G. posing nude in front of the Boston skyline with a LH 747 taking off........I don't know if that will fly!
