Hi Timo

May I suggest you start by requesting advice on 2-3 pictures at one time maximum? Makes it easier for us to respond in detail.

Also try to point out what you think is wrong with the images. That way you are forced to think about your images and what is wrong with them instead of just asking "what is wrong with them"

Tim

Hi Timo,

On the 2 you are asking specific questions:

4. Looks grainy and has a cyan color cast, I would suggest you rework and try at 1024.
6. Looks grainy and needs a kick extra contrast, again I would suggest to try at 1024.

Hope it helps  Smile - Andres

Hi Timo.

I think the problems Andrés pointed are still visible.
The Lufthansa has a cyan cast you can notice on this quick edit.
Big version: Width: 443 Height: 295 File size: 103kb
Cyan corrected on the right side

And the 380 has some grain issues under the wings and on the sky as well. Try not to sharpen the sky using some layers procedure.

Hi at all,

I have some trouble with this picture, I´m unsure about the contrast and I have no idea who the owner of this aircraft is and which categories I have to choose for upload.

No. It isn't. It has contrast issues. There's a small gap on the left-black side of the histogram. There's no real black on this picture; so if you move the slide properly to correct it, it'll be ready to go to the screeners.
The same applies to the 380.

Most of the photos have a blue colorcast, are you using some filter on the lens like a UV one?

On some photos you leave a little too much space at the bottom (1, 2 and 7).

4 is a little overexposed and some quality issues.

6 rotate clockwise

On the CargoItali there is some sort of line going to the right from the cockpit windows (or is it my eyes  Wink ?)

I think the Emirates A340-500 is the best but still has a colorcast.

That A318CJ look very good, sun was low and the middle look overexposed, but I think it upload worthy.

All the photos are from Hamburg? I need to go there some interesting stuff is there.

Thank you for the replys guys!

Yes, all picture were taken in HAM. EK A345 is now replaced by B773 and you have on some days the chance to catch some airplanes which visit the Lufthansa Technik ( the D-AIMM for example )

I will work on my photos to get them in the database  Smile

Cheers

Here are 3 new pictures. On the Oman Royal Flight I´m unsere about the exposure and contrast, maybe a bit grainy?

Here is the front gear of F-WWOW, ratio ok?

and N17126. Lighconditions were difficult, maybe a color cast?

Cheers Timo

Hi Timo,

1) Looks ok to me, could be a tad sharper maybe.

2) Ratio is ok, the gear doors are a bit oof and overall it could do well with a tad more sharpness.

3) I would reject this one for colour and grainy. It has a strong greenish cast and the plane is overall too grainy. I personally would like it better with the whole tail included.
