Good day,
I made a search in the database for photos taken with the Sigma 4,5mm but didn't find any, anyone has experience with this lens? any samples available?

Thanks, Nitin. So the original image is circular? I've heard CS4 can transform circular images like the above in "normal" images, any plugin needed for that?

I'm making these questions because I'm undecided between the Canon 10-22, the Sigma 8mm
and the Sigma 4,5mm, trying to understand the fisheye circular images and fisheye non circular images.

Understandable, i didnt know about the edge thing when i bought the lens, but now am totally used to it, ofcourse, you get programs which straighten out the picture.

Thanks for your help, Nitin, I wonder which lens gives more field of view, the Canon 10-22mm or the Sigma 8mm. The Sigma has less focal lenght but by cropping the corners it might be almost the same as the Canon 10-22, my guess only.

Quoting Oly720man (Reply 10): I think you were standing a bit further forward, in line with the seat with the black bag on it.
Yes, your quite right, that is my camera bag, and i was standing right next to it. But the wide angle aspect makes it look further away.

Not quite sure about that, that fact is possibly true, never thought of that.

AIRLINERS.NET CREW PHOTO SCREENER
I´m shopping for one as well, what I can figure from the images is that the 4.5mm fisheye gives a full circle image on a 1.6 crop sensor, while the 8mm fisheye gives a larger image with just the corners blacked out, like in Nitin´s image above.
Correct?
What confused me is that while both lenses technically cover 180 degrees, they have different focal lengths.
I dont know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone
