Hi all, just wondering whether any SYD spotters would know the best spot for photos and video?
I went spotting here last time and the fence got in the way a LOT.

Than you have Observation deck in International terminal which is okay but not a great view these days.
Qantas drive spot is okay especially for 16R arrivals,the aircraft coming in on finals beside you but parking is quite difficult now i think,gate is closed most of the time now.
If your after directions and more details ill post later when i get more time.

Observation deck is excellent for 34L departures, mediocre for 16R arrivals (due to annoying clear plastic window with tiny holes for cameras to look through)
The beach (SQ777 above) is only very good later on cooler afternoons when heat-haze is not so bad. It should be excellent at the fence line with a ladder.
Qantas Drive is excellent for 16R arrivals, morning or afternoon.
I wouldnt worry about heat haze now,Beach spot is goo from about 2pm-7pm at present with good sunlight on side,sun is still high around 12-2 and shadows creep in now just after 7pm.
