Hello

I have today put these two pictures into the queue, and now i'm having second thoughts about them both, I struggle to find time to get out and take some photo's let alone spend time to edit them so normally just upload them to My.Av, However these two are'nt in the database so I thought I would try them out.

The first photo looks a bit noisy to me still and the second one i think could do with centreing better and also I tried to remove the sun-flash on the front but found it very hard to do.

So really any advice is welcome, Should I pull from the Queue? I am more bothered to waste the screeners time than anything else not fussed about acceptance ratio etc.

Thanks for all your help Nick

First one needs cw rotation better centering, it's too dark, soft and grainy. Honestly I think you should keep this one for yoourself.

2nd is too low in frame and also too dark and soft. And yes the reflections are not too appealing either I'm afraid.

My advice is pull from the queue. 2nd one might stand a chance if you can improve and center it in the frame

Hello there.

They will both be rejected, I believe.

The first has some quality issues, including the backlighting. It is also cropped a bit wide for A.net too. It has the feel of a photo that has had too heavy a dose of post-processing.

You are right - the helicopter is too low in the frame and again the lighting is a problem. It is not sharp enough either.

Cheers.

Paul

Unfortunately yea you should pull them. They both suffer from a lot of issues all caused my no light. Dark, soft, blurry etc and the second one is not centered. Also size is wierd use ferguls ratio and don't go any bigger than 1000 pixels until you start to improve your captures.

So I removed them from the queue as advised, does anyone think one of these might be usable, I'd love to spend the time to edit them better but dont't have it, Anyway if anyone would like to try them I will happily mail them over.

Thanks for your advice guys Nick
