I'm not one to say much about my photos - but god - I've finally reached 20 images in the database. I don't believe it.  faint

It's utterly pathetic compared with the hundreds and thousands others have - but I'll take it given my irregular uploading efforts.  Wink Onwards to 50 I guess.  Smile

No need to compare with others, Chris! Set your own personal targets. By the way, 20 is a nice figure too  Smile Remember, you can never get to the big numbers without going through the small numbers (one by one).

Congrats to this milestone and up to the next one!  champagne

Best regards,

Walter

I like the livery, I like the plane, I like the location (even when I haven't been there - yet)

Thanks and good luck.   Message me if you need help.

Since my camera is now scheduled for servicing - I'm going back over my older photos to see what I can get out of those. I have a couple of good ones lined up.

It's now 21 images, I got Scarlet Lady in my collection now (G-VRED).

That's probably one of my last images with the Nikon D80 (I have about 5 more I will try).

I've moved up to more exotic things - tonight I picked up a brand new Nikon D700 camera body.  I'm in camera heaven.   That thing feels so solid, the ability to customise it just how I want it to work, the high ISO performance. My goodness.   Smile

I have a shot from this bird in LAX, but quality isn't too good. But I should try to upload it as I like the livery a lot. And during a sunny day it looks even better!

I'm kicking myself because I started this game after beautiful old Nalanji Dreaming (747 Classic) was put out of service. She was also a lovely old bird, as were all the QF B743s. You could always pick one of those coming from a distance.

I hope they resurrect the Nalanji Dreaming colour scheme, much like Wunala was moved to the B744ER.

Congrats on reaching 20. I know the feeling as I was there with you not more than a year ago. Keep at it is all I can say. A year ago my acceptance ratio was around 18% then I got lucky and caught a few days of near perfect conditions and somehow had my processing flow click all at the same time.
Now I have over 50 in the db and an acceptance ratio of over 50%. More importantly I have the confidence to work on and submit shots I may have previously held back. And its interesting because when I only had a 2 queue limit I wanted more and now that I have a 10 or whatever limit I dont think I have more than 2 in the queue at a time anyway.
I think I can now agree with most people on here that while the quality of the shot is important, it's really just about finding the right editing flow.
Good luck and look forward to your post at 50.

Oh, it's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol.
