Photography At Munich

Hi all,

I'm considering a photography trip to Munich at the moment but want to get some info on the airport's spots. I know there is a 'photography hill' at the airport but what focal length would be needed to catch the runway action from this spot?

I had the 100-400 on and remember it being ample. The spot on the southern side of the field is named Aussichtshugel Sud.
