500 pix for the first one is too small to judge quality, but I'd guess that the framing would get it rejected anyway, for motive/centering/distant, take your pick.
Same goes for the second, and at a larger size, you can see not only the same problems as the first, but also that it's pretty blurry/soft, and lacks quality overall.

Yeah, agreed. The second picture might even be a bit out of focus - it's hard to tell but you can see the softness/blurriness in the nose of the aircraft. What shutter speed were you using? Seems like it was a pretty dark day, and you might not have had a fast enough shutter to capture the image crisply.
