I will be in the area next weekend for the airshow at NAS Ft. Worth. Would like to spend some time at the civil airports. Any go places to shoot from.

Thanks

"Founder's Plaza" at DFW is great. Went there last year, good action.

The top levels of the parking garage at KDAL in early morning sun (8 am to 11 am) is a great location. Founder's Plaza is a nice place, but their are better options at DFW if you don't mind talking a few minutes with DFW police, they usually come and ask what you're doing just to make sure you're a legit photographer and not someone that is up to no good.

Here is a great guide to spotting at KDFW. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en...306.00045148dd40019930e38&t=h&z=13

I will probably be out there all day Friday...you'll probably see me at Founder's for a few hours.

Ahh yes Bachman lake, there is a park with picnic benches and a walking path that you can follow to get right under either runway. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&sa...i=geocode_result&ct=title&resnum=1
