I actually broke my record today, not something I'm proud of, but I got ten rejections in one day. I feel bad for the guys who had to screen my photos. I'm going to have to do more pre-screening threads!
Two of them rejected for Colour though I'm not sure I understand, and I want to correct the issue and learn.
The two I got rejected for color where taken on the same day, angle, etc., shot in RAW and processed the same. I'm trying to figure out if I shot them wrong or processed them wrong I guess. Any help would be appreciated.
For some reason I can't upload photos or insert the photo using the photo ID, so below are two links for the rejected photos.

To me they both look over saturated ie the red is too red. How did you process them?

For examply on the A340, I shot in RAW and started the process in Adobe RAW. I do add Clarity 5, Vibrance 15 and Saturation 15. After I do the rest of my RAW editing I save as a TIFF, then open it in CS3 and I added another +5 of Saturation in the final product. If I shoot in jpeg, I add usually +15-18...max 20 Saturation, so I went with only +5 plus whatever I did above in RAW.
Too much?
White Balance was "As Shot" with a temp of 5650K.
Seems like whenever I shoot RAW I'm getting ALOT of colour rejections.
Thank you.
Ron

That is a lot of saturation, I usually add +5 in Photoshop only.
Here is a quote from the Anet editing guide:
"On top of that I added some saturation to compensate the flatter colours of computer screens (this is usually not needed for printing). Don’t overdo the saturation, it can turn things into a very unnatural looking neon-like photo."
They also added +5 in the RAW converter and it looks like nothing additional in Photoshop. I like having colors pop, but your rejections take colors to the unnatural level. With a re-edit I think those shots would look great. Good luck.

Ron, Matt is right about the saturation, never use too much of it, I never go any further as 10 but normally I keep it a lot lower. And adding it three times is just overkill, you use saturation and vibrance, both do the same only the vibrance doesnt effect skincolor too much, and afterwards you also add in photoshop some amount.

Ahh. I suspected I was having White Balance adjustment issues, but I'm happy to find out it is something as easy to fix as saturation. Thank you for the help guys. I'll re-work these two using less saturation and re-submit.
Thanks,
Ron

This was my second time around. I stated in the note to the screener that the first one got rejected for colour, and that in the post screening thread it was thought that it was over saturated, so I reduced saturation -5. But It got rejected and I also got this:
These photo(s) seem to be an unchanged re-upload of a photo you uploaded
earlier, and which was rejected then. Re-uploading previously rejected
photos in unchanged form is not allowed, and may even result in a temporary
ban from the site.
Anyway, here is the latest version. Used the Daylight white balance and +5 Vibrance and +5 Saturation. Nothing else colour wise.
