Glasgow International (GLA)! I know it's not a very exotic place to go but it's far better for me than compared to Belfast City! Flights to Glasgow are booked on flybe and I think I'm all set to go. So as I am a complete novice at this do you guys have any tips for me? Anything to make sure I should pack? Has anyone got any great secret spots for photography at GLA? Is a scanner ok to take on as hand luggage? And most importantly: what to do in Glasgow if there is monsoon rain for 2 days!

And I think we could get some of the experienced spotters sharing stories of their first trips while we're on the subject!
