EAA Airventure Not Part Of Priority Screening?

It's one of the, if not the largest airshow anywhere. I can't understand why so many other large airshows are included but not EAA? Why?? I see absolutely no reason behind this, if you include those other large airshows, why not EAA? It's one the most well known and largest airshows around.

I don't want to rant or ramble. So i'll stop...

Slightly confused behind this decision.

Well, AFAIK they only do priority screening now for Le Bourget and the ILA in Germany.
There's usually not many "worldwide news-worthy" aircraft to be unveiled.

Joey - if there was something newsworthy from the show we would certainly have a look - but we have to draw the line somewhere, and thus the decision was made not to include AirVenture.

Perhaps we will revisit this sometime in the future, but for 2009 that's the rub.
