Looking through the photo search, I didn't see any current shots from this location. Is it still open or, if it is, part of the restaurant? It's hard to tell from the airport website that still shows it on the terminal map. If it is, any good for viewing and photos?

You have to walk thru the diner to get to it (actually there's 2.) I was there in Nov 2006.

not too great of a location for photos. it is far from Rwy 30 and will only work for roll out and takeoff. Aircraft taxiing in to the terminal will most like be obstructed by ramp equipment and new construction of baggage screening areas.
Best spot is still the Devry lot but lately the airport police have been checking id's
Oh, it's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol.

Thanks for the responses. I had been thinking of views over the ramp area but wasn't sure if the buildings would be in the way.

I was there last month. It's actually possible to get to the observation deck without going to the restaurant. Once you go up the stairs, look for a hallway just south of the restaurant (left if you're facing the restaurant entrance). At the end of the hallway is a door that opens onto the observation deck.
There is glass, but if you stand just outside the door, you're a couple steps up from the deck platform and you can shoot over it. Ramp clutter and buildings will be a problem, though, as you can see in this photo from last month:

Devry is the parking lot south of the airfield across from the terminal (in this lot the control tower would be to your left). If you were on the terminal side and north of 30 then you were probably in the AAA lot.
