7D Level Rejection.... Appeal?

How long before someone using a new Canon 7D appeals a level rejection based on the built in level meter?

Dual Axis Electronic Level. The electronic level shows both pitch and roll angles. It can be displayed in the viewfinder using the AF point indicators or on the LCD and uses the same acceleration sensor as the 'orientation-sensitive' AF-system.

My D700 already has half of that system. I never use it, far too clunky to operate (must hold down a button on the front of the camera to see it in the viewfinder).

A bit pointless IMO.
