I have a question regarding shooting settings for Nikon D80. I live out in Los Angeles near LAX, I usually hangout at Imperial Hill overlooking the runways and airliners. Now my question is I have a 18-200mm Quantaray I am using Shooting Mode now what setting should I be in regards of ISO, Speed, etc.. when taking pictures using the lens and where my position is at Imperial Hill..

Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

Shoot at ISO200, f/8 in aperture priority mode, and work on your panning technique - but 200mm is a little short on the long end for all but the largest heavies from Imperial Hill.
