Does anyone have any up-to-date information on the status of photography at GRU? Doing a search, I find the most recent entry involves someone went through a 7-hour interrogation and strip search after taking pictures from the airport restaurant's windows. While I'd like to snag some GRU shots during an upcoming trip, I'm not sure I'm up for that kind of entertainment.

Aside from law enforcement, any other GRU photography tips would be useful. I won't have a car, but it appears the main terminal faces south toward the tarmac and runways. The sun is generally in the north this time of year in the southern hemisphere, right?

In the off-chance any local photogs are up for some photography at either GRU or CGH, I'm available on November 2 and 6.

Cheers,

John
