Advice On LAX Hotels (Plus A Radisson Question)

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of booking a trip to Los Angeles in early January, and although we're flying into BUR, the cheapest lodging options are actually at LAX (convenient for a plane lover!).

Which hotels do people recommend as far as having the best views/photography options?

I've stayed at the Radisson twice, and the views were pretty good. Have they closed the roof access, or can one still go out there? Has anything been done about the dirty windows?

Do any of the hotels south of the airport afford any good views/spotting opportunities (if so, how much lens does one need?)?

What about anything else on Century Blvd?

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I was wondering if there was any more current information available.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Cameron

P.S. My maximum zoom is 250mm.
