Spotting At SLC

Hi folks--

Will be flying PVD-ATL-SLC-JAC r/t on the 28th of December returning on the 9th of Jan. with Delta.

Was wondering if anyone might help me with spotting tips at SLC, keeping in mind I am flying DL? (And ATL while we're at it!)

If you have a decent telephoto lens, the upper levels of the parking garage give you a pretty good view of both runways. I was able to snap this at 370mm equiv. from up there. (of course, I don't know how security is now after 9/11). There is (or at least was) a good spot at the end of the runway on the east side (south end of the east runway) that has ATC speakers and a nice hill to catch planes landing to the north.
