Hi all,

Came across this article on canonfieldreviews on the effectiveness of weather-sealing on the Canon 7D (in Antarctica!):


I'm pretty impressed I have to say!

Good to see Canon is making some progress. Earlier in 2009 they were twice as likely to fail when compared to a Nikon (also in Antarctica). It also looks like Sony faired well:

Good to see, now maybe I wont have to hear "Why do you need a weather sealed 17-55 2.8 when you ONLY have a crop camera" from the FF users...
