Novaflex have announced an adapter ring.

With it, it is possible to mount the superior Nikon lenses on Canon bodies!

Not the first time it is happened.

Because Canon made only little toy lenses - people like Reuters had to molest the Zoom-Nikkor 1200-1700mm F/5.6-8.0 AI-P lens in order to get the required shots on their Canon cameras!

Poor lens.

Why would you want to mount a superior lens on an inferior body?

Oh, this is going to be a fun topic I think.  Smile

I was going to suggest that it won't take long for Darren Howie reply - and sure enough. Big grin

Darren,

Maybe its safer to say:

"Why the hell would you replace superior Nikon lenses with the even more superior Canon Lenses?"

I thought you were thinking at the long end..........but I can see the point of the 14-24 indeed.
But then again there are quite potent third party options available with both Canon and Nikon mount.

Canon's own 24-70/2.8L is quite good though so I don't see the point in this area.

200-400 f/4? I'd love Canon to release one as well! That lens is seriously lacking in the Canon arsenal

We also had 1200-1700mm Zoom-Nikkor, in addition to the 200-400 which I have.   A 6mm F/2.8 Fisheye Nikkor is another of our gems, along with the 300mm F/2.0.

Just get the Hartblei Superrotator 40mm f4.0 IF instead.I know it's a little bit big - and costs nearly $11,000, but it'll do the job.  http://www.avhub.com.au/ProductRevie...x?MagazineID=2&ProductReviewID=442

It makes the Nikon D3 look small.
