In may/june i'm planning to visit an european airport with great spotting facilities.
Maybe Zurich maybe..... (anyone tips)
i regularly visit Fra and Dus. maybe other airports with a viewing terrace?

i'll book a flight ticket (air Berlin/Ryanair/Easyjet). no transport at the airport.

Viv, I think by the sound of it he knows DUS quite well and would rather visit somewhere else. My local MAN is a great option but transport is handy (although not essential if you are prepared to walk a bit).
