I know MANY of the pictures in that site are from a.net, I recognize many of the cockpit shots.

And you gotta love the misspelling errors, "jokes" instead of yokes, joke's on them!

By the way, the whole website seems phony, me thinks they're hoping people will fill out the purchase form in hopes of getting addresses and phone numbers.

How have we concluded that these were stolen and not obtained properly?

One of them is mine and I don't remember them asking to use it.

Is it really enforced or just a statement?

Fair enough. That's all I needed to hear. There was no evidence presented in the OP.

I wrote them an e-mail and they responded. They said that they didnt know about asking for permission. I told them to contact all the photographers with photos on their site and to ask for permission. lets see what happens.

Oh I bet.   They got caught.

Speaking of which, the photos in Afriqiyah's fleet section (right side column), I guess they do have permission to use those?

They at least left the copyright bars intact.

Still, watermark or not, bar or not, if somebody uses my pictures without my permission for commercial purposes they will never hear the end of it, unless they give me some nice royalties.

Its up to the individual photographer to protect his own copyright.

As for the site, I think they took it down.
