Heya folks,

Following the announcement of the AF A380 flights from CDG to LHR, I'm to be going over to CDG for the weekend in June. I'm most likely going to be staying in the Hyatt Regency Paris - Charles De Gaulle hotel. Has anybody stayed here before? Is photography in any way possible from here? Where is the closest place walking wise for photography? I know the regualtions at CDG, so I must be careful as I know it's illegal to take photos there. (WHY!!!???)

Any information well be appreciated greatly!

The French have never really understood why anyone would want to take pictures of aeroplanes, but they at least have now recognised the hobby, although they've used it as an excuse to make money.

Apparently the passes are either free or pretty cheap and can easily be applied for by contacting the Paris airports authority (ADP or something I think).

Mmmm....

I've had a look at the ADP website, no luck with the photograhy pass. Can anyone enlighten me?

Also, I REALLY need information on this hotel!

Many thanks,

Alfie

It is no hassle to get the permit and it is not dated so it will last you forever
