There are some incredibly minor differences, but I would dare say that these are most likely the same ship number, not two different ones as the data describes:

Hi!
I do not believe both images are from same photographer, if you look closer carefully at front wheels it shows little different angles ..

Thank you!
Frank

I think he is saying the images were taken from different photographers, but of the same subject. Both uploads were submitted under different registrations. Highly unlikely it was two different airplanes...

After some checking, it appears that it is in fact PH-BFG, as BFY arrived 10 minutes before sunrise on May 20. Thanks for pointing that out, and will get the editors to change the reg. on the incorrect shot.

Very diplomatic way of bringing it up. I had thought the same as the 3-holer that had just vacated the runway is in the exact same position in both images making it difficult for me to resolve the idea that these two photographs were of two different aircraft.

Two fantastic images non-the-less.

Clearly different. Look at the sun; it doesn't set that quickly and clouds don't come and go like that.

The image with incorrect data has now been updated.

Two great images from photographers who must have been just a few feet from each other.

Best regards,

Jim

Both are great pics, but Maurits have the slightly better one IMO
Guess they were just there at the same time, or I would have asked my buddy if he knew the reg!

Similar pics happen from time to time, another fine example of photogs just a few meters from eachother, and that made the PCA:

I wasn't wanting to start a firestorm - nor was I throwing any photographer under a bus. At first look I actually thought the same pic was uploaded twice by mistake (it's happened here before, no big deal). But as I later mentioned - they are both amazing shots!

Glad to see the data corrected, one of them is on the Photog's Choice top 15 right now!

Take care everyone,

Drew
