Good Places To Spot At MYR?

I'll be on a family vacation to Myrtle Beach in a few weeks, and as our hotel is pretty close to the airport I figure I'll try to get some interesting new entries for my logbook. Does anyone know any good locations to spot there, any official areas, areas to avoid, etc? Thanks!

Warbird Park off Farrow Parkway in the SW corner of the airport is OK.

That too, although it depends on whether he wants to spot (log tail numbers) or spot (take photos) or both. Subjects may be a little high from the beach for some tastes. Of course if the wind is blowing the other way (E) the beach is useless.
