*This is my first thread on a.net, if this should not belong in this forum or there are any other issues, please tell me but stay nice!*
Hi there, tomorrow (July 15th) the A380 is landing at AMS. Seems no real post on a.net about this first arrival and it would be a shame if there aren't taken many pictures from my fellow Dutch spotters for a.net (I can't take pictures myself, I'm going alone to AMS this time, I'm 14, and I may not bring my dads good camera so.. ).
The aircraft will be towed to gate E24. Does any AMS spotter know if you have a good view of this gate from the "Panoramaterras"? Landing will probably be on 18R,18C or 36C of which I know is good visible. I know that there is a special spotters area near the Polderbaan but I've no transport to it. Is someone also going to watch this great aircraft on her first arrival at Schiphol? Would be nice to meet on the panoramaterras.
Comments are all welcome!

QUOTING: "What airline is it going to be?"
This arrival will not be a scheduled flight, it's a flight from Airbus: Toulouse(hub)-Amsterdam(route proving)-Farnborough(Air show)-v.v. .
Malaysia Airlines has shown interest in a A380 route to AMS, but AMS has to upgrade it's facilities. It has no A380 specific parking/gate's and none special ground handling vehicles. Also are there only 2 rwy's A380 proof, both in 36/18 direction. AMS has to improof cause a MH A380 at Schiphol would be great.

If some airline will start the A380 to AMS, I would say this is to be CZ/China Southern.

Yes, you have a very good view from the observation deck. So I would advise you to go there.
