A public note of congratulations to my old pal Jid Webb on reaching this particular milestone on A.net - very well done.

Jid was probably the first person I met around the perimeter of Manchester before I started uploading here and he gave me some very useful advice on editing. I have been following in his footsteps ever since, but am unlikely to ever catch him in terms of viewing figures or number of photos uploaded. He is a great source of information on many things, not least editing techniques, and he is certainly the man to know when wanting some info on what is happening around my local area. An all round good guy.

It has been far too long since we last met up Jid - hope it won't be too much longer.

Here are a couple of my favourites from his excellent portfolio:

Great milestone - congratulations, Jid!

I am still most thankful for your editing workflow guide. Before reading it, my photo editing knowledge was limited to cropping and levelling. I was not happy with my results at all, and always envied other photographers for taking so much better photos than I did.

Then someone hinted me towards your workflow. I gave it a quick glance, and was quite surprised to see a photo that looked quite similar to what I usually produced being turned into a photo of the kind I always marvelled at.

I later on read several books about photo editing, but it was your workflow guide that got me started. I still have a printed copy of it on top of my "offline" photo filing folder.

Thank you for that, and, once again, congratulations on your milestone!

Cheers,
Stefan
