The NEX is a nice little pocket camera. It's probably not the best for spotting (unless you buy the 18-200 lens) but for being inconspicuous it's great. It's small without giving up image quality. You might want to consider one of the new a33/55 SLT cameras, though, because they use the native Alpha mount which has tons more glass available and they have faster framerates and better autofocus.
