Just curious as to why a shot I uploaded yesterday at 3.30pm still hadn't been added as of 7am this morning even though I asked for priority screening. In the past images have been added within a couple of hours.I have since deleted the shot from the queue.
For me, yes! For the screeners, maybe not. The best way to find out would be to contact them directly (firstname.lastname@example.org was the email IIRC) or to post it in the photography forum, it may not be seen here by the people in charge.

Well if the screeners seriously thought G-CPET in retro Negus & Negus livery wasn't worthy of priority then I'm definitely on a different wavelength to the site! I'm sure however there's some other explanation, but if not I'm speechless!

The email for priority is actually email@example.com, is that the email you sent it to? By the way it looks like someone's shot of this aircraft has just been accepted with priority judging by the front page bulletin now.

Quoting Plainplane (Reply 5): The email for priority is actually firstname.lastname@example.org, is that the email you sent it to?
Yes, same address.
All I got after after 16 hours was a copy of an email from Royal S King to the other screeners regarding an issue that didn't involve me. It seems to me as though my shot wasn't wanted and that's that.
To be honest, as it would of been pretty much the first shot of it on the net and a newsworthy subject, I didn't expect any problems regarding screening. I decided to delete from the queue as over ten hours had passed since uploading. (Not the usual speedy results you get from priority screening)
