Hi all,
In March last year, I had to fly with BMI from LHR up to GLA because of the BA strike, and could only book into full fare Y which gave me lounge access. I noticed at the far end of the lounge from where I was seated, that views of aircraft landing on 27R were quite good. I didn't want to look odd photting from inside the lounge.
Is there anywhere else airside in T1 that similar views are possible from?

I was there on Friday and I'm not too sure about where they touch-down, but there is a good apron view from Café Nero, and the restaurant beside it of the apron there (it's usually BD that is there so it'd only be A319s, A320s and the odd A321). If you're flying from gates 78-90 (the Ireland, UK and Channel Islands gates) you can get some shots through the windows there of planes slowing down (provided the EI and BD planes don't obscure your view).
