Hopefully I didn't miss a previous answer to this question when I did a quick search...
Does anyone know how to find info to fill into the database for aircraft that are under construction and don't have a registration yet?
I have photos of several of the 787's around Paine Field patiently awaiting completion and certification. Several of these, in particular two for Royal Air Maroc and two for JAL, have no registration numbers.

From the helpfile link for Registration on the Upload page:
"If your photo depicts an aircraft but you don't know the nationality and the registration, list the registration with five stars as *****. When you know the registration partly, list the details you know and fill the rest up with stars, e.g. N*****, D-A***, SE-***, PH-BD*, N5**DA, HB-JA*, 85-018*, A97-***, etc."
For the cn field, if you don't know it, leave it blank.
