This subject may have been covered before but I missed it. I am planning a trip later inn the year to St. Maarten. I will be there for a week. I cannot go to the beach & bar everyday but can someone advise me if there are any particular days of the week that are better than others for spotting and photograohy?

It really depends what time of year you go. From the times i've been there saturday and sunday without a doubt are the busiest days. When I go I always make sure I'm there over sat and sun. As for the rest of the week, if you go in the low season then some midweek days can be very quiet indeed with only a couple of 737/757 arrivals. I seem to remember wednesday being a quiet one and I think this is the day we chose to go off to St Barths to visit SBH. If you go to the airport website you can download a copy of the timetable which can help you plan what days to be there.
