I would just like to thank everyone who has helped my with regards to digital photography. In the 3 months I have been shooting digital I have 100 photos on the site with my 2100 and 3 with a 1MP camera

Thanks a lot

Just a shame my 100th digi shot was not of a more interesting aircraft!

Congrats Ben, keep em coming. BTW I know that with a 300mm lens its impossible to get anything smaller than an ATR full frame for 28 landings, so what exactly is the focal range of that 2100 ? Or did you crop it and/or use the digital zoom ?

check the format. It's square, not rectangular, so it's cropped. Also, digital zoom probably wouldn't look nice..

Well, the optical zoom is 380mm anyway Big grin

Its only 370mm on mine, that sucks!!! although I have 1mm wider angle hahha!

BTW Martin. Know anything about aer arran? I may be flying DUB-CRK on them. Im still trying to get my folks to book DUB-SNN on EI 333  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

You pay £35 return to Cork and I paid £16 return to Edinburgh !

Have a nice holiday. The west is nice when its not raining. If you're going to West Cork and fancy a nice beach (when the sun comes out) look into Barlycove Beach near a lovley fishing villiage called Crookhaven.
