It looks like I will be in ATL the first week of Sept. I was wanting to book at hotel near the airport so I could do some airplane spotting during my down time. I know about the Renaissance Concourse Hotel, but are there any other hotels near the airport that are good for spotting?

That would be the best for watching. I have spent a lot of time in ATL and the other Hotels are setback closer to Virgina Ave. or on the otherside, and not to much to look at. Try and get to the Delta Transport Muesum, you will be right across the street from the Delta GO. HTH

Probably not this time of year, but for winter, that Sheraton on the southwest corner of the field looks interesting. Anyone been there?
