I was thinking about maybe shooting at LAX Monday. If I remember correctly, on Mondays, there is is only one hour parking next to In-N-Out. How strictly is that enforced? What is the best way to deal with that?

Thanks in advance!

Jeff

I, personally, have never seen parking cops there. Just park at In N Out if you're worried... No one will say anything.

Cool, thanks. I'll check and see if anything interesting is coming in on Monday and when.

There are always people parked in the No Parking Areas on the street. And I've parked there for far longer than whatever the signs say in the timed parking areas.

When I went to In n out, we just parked in the customer parking areas. We didn't see any traffic cops either. But beware that unless you go in afternoon, any other time of day will have a backlit airplane.

They'll be backlit most of the afternoon during this time of year as well (if you're shooting side-ons).

You can still get some great silhouette sunset shots, though!

Also, it's worth checking the weather and traffic direction. LAX was on reverse flow for most of this morning, and was still that way when I left Imperial Hill around 1:30 PM.

I was actually there one time and there was a parking enforcement agent writing tickets on cars parked in the no parking area, so YMMV.
