Hi all,

First post on .net so be gentle please.  

I've been a fan of aviation for the past few years and have always wanted to take up spotting and get some rather good snaps for myself. I'm 18 and now that I can drive and have a job which pays enough I can finally take time to go out and get some good piccies. However I don't know where to go for just some good practice for a newbie, my local airport is Gloucester but I'd prefer a bigger one with jets.

I'd say Bristol would be a decent starting place, or take a drive down the M4 to Heathrow if you want plenty of action.

Bristol or Cardiff both good Airports you'd maybe see a bit more action with charters at Bristol but Cardiff get some heavies on occasion as BA's maintaince Hangar is there.
