Hi,
I appealed two photo's (Upload id: 52993 and 52994) over a week ago.
Can someone tell me if this is normal or if there is a problem?
Because other appeal's where dealt with with in 2 days...

Thanks in advance

Lars

Hello Lars.

A week would not be the norm, though it may be that the Heads are passing your photo between themselves, so that they come to a joint decision (could be because there is something particularly debatable about your image). If one or more have not been around recently maybe that causes the delay. But it is a long time.

You can email them direct if you don't get further clarification here.

In your position I would be trying to reassure myself that at least such a delay might suggest they are giving the image thorough consideration.

Cheers.

Paul

@ Paul They are two very similar shots rejected both for motive so that could be a logical explanation.
@Darren yes they are.

I will just have to wait some more...

Thanks for the help guys!

I was just going to say it's worth checking as the odd one I've appealed, I've not always got an email once the decision was made. Pauls explanation is probably on the money then.

HEAD SCREENER

Lars

Your images are still in the queue.

All Head Screeners need to review before processing. At least one is away at the moment.

They will be processed as soon as possible. Will try to get them cleared today.

Nice going Lars! And nice going HS...one seems to have made it to the front page! Obviously the viewers and aviation fans agree with your decisions. Keep pressing that accept button

The other one is now in 8th place in the top 24 hours, maybe they will be in the top five together

And jolly fine shots they are too, pin sharp with a 400mm lens! A shame that they had to be held up for a week or so, but better late then never!
