AIRLINERS.NET CREW HEAD SCREENER
Don't know why you think that aircraft will be repainted. The new airframe (ZK-OKQ) that was painted in the All-Blacks livery made its first appearance last month and has been on the db for a few weeks now.

Quoting dlowwa (Reply 2): Don't know why you think that aircraft will be repainted
I misread the registration and got the wrong plane... i corrected it in the post before yours. I used OKO instead of OKQ.

There were a large number of photographers, myself included, who turned out to see this aircraft in Everett this past weekend (prior to its delivery flight to AKL on Monday night). It was a bit frustrating though, as the typical Seattle winter clouds were not cooperating.
On Sunday morning it flew but it was very overcast, and at the last minute, it returned on 34L at PAE instead or 16R. If he'd come in on 16R, about five minutes later, a couple of us would've gotten great shots. Later that day it went out again in the afternoon and was due back in around 3:45 pm - about 20/25 minutes before sunset. The light was beautiful from 3:30 until sunset, and about fifteen minutes after the sun dipped below the horizon, in came the aircraft - as BOE55 - just in time for it to be very dark. Many A.net contributors can work miracles in low light, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that some of the eight or nine spotters who were there might actually have a shot in the queue right now.
If nothing else, we were treated to a beautiful sunset and a cool aircraft.
