Best Spotting Locations At Amsterdam?

In a few weeks I will be travelling to Amsterdam for a planespotting trip and I was wondering where are the best spotting locations at the airport? Bearing in mind I will be on foot and with no car.

Depends on the wind direction on the particular day and if you prefer to look at planes landing or taking-off.

I have to be honest and say that AMS is best done by car to get the most out of it. That said, it can still be a great place for photography for those on foot if the runways patterns are kind. The terrace is okay for the odd nice shot this time of year, although it's not perfect as it kind of faces south. Better in the afternoon and of course no heat haze to contend with this time of year.

I've not used public transport but I believe most spots around 24/06 can easily be reached.
