Used to be a Minolta user and was seriously considering the A700 when it came out. What turned me to Canon after 20 years with Minolta was that I could get a 50D+70-200 2.8 IS for the same price as the 70-200 2.8G alone. today they are pretty much on par price wise.

I did have an A300 for a couple years. It even captured my first shot in the DB. This summer I switched to a T3i. For the time I had it, it was pretty good.

Still rocking the a700 here. 70-400 G is the best telezoom available on any mount. Maybe next year I'll get an a77, but this year I had computer-related expenses and unfortunately new camera/glass is out for the time being.
As far as I know I'm the only screener that uses Sony equipment regularly.
