I got around 6 hours time between flights at LHR and I was pondering if there would be fellow a.netteres around LHR on that day. And if you got any tips how to get around there and where to go. All the info would be appreciated.

Hope this message isn't too late, but there is a web site, planemad, which has all the information you require regarding spotting at Heathrow Airport, especially if your packing a camera, it tells you all the do's and dont's when taking pics of heavy metal around the perimetre fence.
