Good evening folks,
I'm slowly getting familiarised with the spots around CDG but I've still not found the excellent meteo spot. Do any members on here have knowledge of how to get to the spot and where to park? From what I remember reading in the past a small step of steps is needed to clear the fence. Is this still the case? What focal length is needed for the heavies from here? Has anybody had any issues with being moved on by security etc?
The Meteo-spot is number two on the map. It's called the Meteo-spot because it's near the building of the Meteo service of CDG. There used to be holes in the fences there, but nowadays the holes are closed and the only way of clearing the fence is by stepladder.
Focal lenght I usually use at this spot is 70-300, but sometimes planes do come close by and you'll need a smaller lense to make the plane fit.
Security at CDG is always strict as there is a ban on photography, unless you have obtained the official permit.
