Good morning.
I was wondering whether any of you know of any cameras that are very good for taking images of aircraft but also quite cheap.

You could try a entry level DSLR, like the Canon 1000D and Nikon D3000

Canon 1000D and Nikon D3000

Both types have been replaced by the newer 1100D and D3100.

Then they should be even cheaper!

Sure, but by how much? Are the differences in the prices worth the differences of the features? Also, how about the availability of those out-of-date models?

Just bought a D3000 a few months ago. I love it.

Precisely the reason I bought mine. I got it, with the standard 18-55 lens, for around $500 during the Black Friday deals on Amazon. The D3100 was around $700-ish at the time.

Hope that helps, and happy shopping!

I didn't know that cameras like D3000 and 1000D are still widely available.
