Hi all,
I'm going to be around the PAE area for the next few months and am wondering if you all know of any good spots to shoot from. I've been on the hill next to the Future of Flight place but wanted to try some other places. I'll be more than happy to have you either tag along with me or vice versa.

Mornings, there is an area across the street from the old fire station at the southeast side of the field that is good for north-bound traffic. There is even a picnic table to sit at, but don't try to stand on it, as its very unstable.
Don't forget to visit the Flying Heritage Collection, Museum of Flight Restoration Center and the Historic Flight Foundation, at the southeast, northeast and southwest parts of the field:

Don't stand on the picnic table. For goodness sake. Is that why your images have fence in them??? Buy a ladder. People use that bench to eat lunch, no wonder it's falling apart.
BatBowl - if you need a ladder, drop me a line, I will be happy to let you borrow one.

I agree about that table. You'll need a ladder for that area and that table is NOT for standing.
I'll also note that as of this morning, there's taxiway construction going on this area, which will make it not so hot for photography until whatever they are doing is done. It may be temporary though, something involving the upcoming PAE general aviation day next week.
