Did I read somewhere rejection e-mails should be sent within a week? I am new (about a week here) and I uploaded some photos more than a week ago with no word(?) Also the upload queue statistics, how do they work? Surely they don't mean one photo is screened a day? Are they supposed to help you work out where in the queue your photo is: if so how?
I know these are probably stupid questions but I'm really clueless so any help appreciated, thanks

The queue is currently around eight - nine days. We currently are screening images submitted mid-day on May 2nd. I checked the queue, and your two images were submitted midday on the 3rd, so they should be screened in about 24 hours. I'll also warn you that the images (G-EUYA and NCL) will be rejected for a variety of reasons, so there's not really much point in leaving them in the queue. If you need more specific feedback, please use the feedback forum.
You can use the My Photos page to both check the status of your images in the queue, and also remove them if you don't want to wait the 24 hours before they are rejected.

Thanks very much for the quick reply, how does one use the feeedback forum exactly? I did have a look at it and it seemed pretty unactive (some of the top threads were from February) but maybe people delete their threads. What I mean by how do you use it is can you just link to your photos or do you upload them in a different way? Help appreciated, thanks

It sounds like it will be worth taking Dana's advice regarding your uploads! He knows what he is talking about.
Don't worry about some of those threads having been started in February - that isn't a sign of activity. Some people have very long threads! Activity is judged by the 'Last Reply' column.
If you want some feedback on your images, start a thread like you did here and link your images - just go to the Photographer's Corner, as Dana suggested, where you can see your queued photos. If you click on them they will have their own link, and you can simply copy and paste that in to your thread there. That way others can click on the links to see you images. Alternately, you can download them to your profile and then add them to your thread that way.
