Hi all,
First post here. Can someone tell me how to look up when the Polet Airlines AN 124 is going to take off from Dulles? It came in to land about an hour ago (as POT4485), and I had just put away my camera. I am a beginner to photography and plane spotting. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks! For reference, this is the flight that I saw: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/POT4485

Set up an alert on FlightAware for aircraft type of "A124", Origin of "KIAD", and check the "Scheduled" box at the bottom. That will probably give you a few hours of notice, before it departs. The An-124s have been operating into IAD FREQUENTLY in the past week or two. The last time I was down there, one departed to CA in the morning and came back before sunset.

No problem. And of course, you can also set up an alert for A124s arriving into IAD by setting the Destination as KIAD, aircraft type of "A124", and both Scheduled and Departed checked (so you get an alert when it actually leaves, not just the filed estimated time).
