Would like some advice regarding the best opportunities to photograph aircraft at Glasgow? I live not far from Edinburgh and would be interested in seeking advice. I have limited capabilities - 70-200mm lens so would have to be fairly near I assume. Equally I would need to be short distance from my vehicle as I cannot walk very far due to disability. For example normally use former market site at Ingliston Nr Edinburgh Airport. Any advice appreciated. George

I would suggest the Inchinnan road which runs pretty parallel to the taxiway to end of runway 23.
You can park your car in laybyes dotted along this road, and there are a couple of crash gates where the locals stand.
You can shoot thru the fence all the way along this road and sun behind you from early morning until about 1400.
landers and taxying shots can be taken from this road.

If you have a look on google maps you can drive 90% pf the way round the perimeter, parking not so much. However once the sun comes round, the Walkenshawe Rd is excellent at Yonderton Farm and loads of the local spotters use this area. Awesome evening photos.
