Go Pro Audio Inputs?

I just bought a GoPro camera and I noticed the fact that the audio input jack gets blocked by the camera cover. I would like to get the aircraft intercom and ATC input to the filming that I do when I am instructing , but this seams to be impossible.
What are the solutions that people develop for this?
