Database - Problem With Retrieving The Images

Hello

I've a problem with querying the photos for EBAW. On either searching for the value "EBAW" in the field "Keywords", or via the dropdown list "Country/Airport", the number of records returned seems to be either 0 or 16.

However, the record count as it was up to yesterday, was approximately 1560.

Any idea what would be the origin of this issue?

Yes, there's also a problem with retrieving my own photos. Either none show up, or only 4, though my public profile states that I have the correct number of photos in the database. I'm sure it will get sorted out soon.

When I try to see all my 1598 photos via the Photographers Corner, I only get 58!!!!

Something spooky with the database or the search.

If I try the quick search on each page for Baldur or Baldur Sveinsson it does not find anything.

There are currently issues with searches and the database. All images are there if you link to them directly, but searches are down. It has been reported, and we are waiting on a resolution.

The simple search for Baldur can now find 651 of my 1598 photos. Definately an improvement. So lets hope for the best.

However knowing a bit about database management and searching, but not on this scale though with about 2 million photos, I am finding it a bit strange that a simple search in one field, photographers name, can go so wrong. But maybe it is not so simple, with being able to write e.g. "Baldur Keflavik" in the small search box on each page and usually get all my Keflavik photos.

I can see only 3995 of my 3996 images, and it's one of the latest accepted that's still missing.

Same here. 2996 out 2997 are showing in the search. The latest accepted photo is not, this one:

The database appears to be dropping photos again. I have 364 images accepted, but when I click on "Click here to view your photos...." it only pulls up 356 images. It appears to be recent acceptances that are missing, with the exception of my latest acceptance.

There are still sporadic issues with searches, but as mentioned above in reply #3 no images have disappeared, or re-appeared for that matter.

Thanks Dana. Glad to hear that. Since I only have a few images here, I wouldn't want to lose any of those.
